An initial 15 minute complementary phone consultation determines if therapy is warranted at this time, and if so, an appointment can be scheduled.
Intake Session includes the initial visit to the home, school or on a video conferencing platform for an informal assessment of the client’s speech and language skills to determine the initial course of treatment.
Sessions are 45, 60 or 90 minutes.
Weekly Updates are sent via email to provide parents with a detailed description of the therapy session.
Speech and Language evaluations are comprehensive, relevant and appropriate to the needs of the client. Both standardized and informal evaluative measures are used in assessments. A formal diagnostic evaluation can be requested at any time. The following areas will be discussed and included as they apply:
- Child and Family History Intake Form
- Standardized Assessments
- Speech and/or Language sample
- Present levels of performance from teachers and other service providers
- Observation and analysis of student work samples
Short and long-term goals, with specific and measured objectives, are created based on the results of the comprehensive evaluation and current concerns.
Clients are invoiced monthly and payment is expected promptly via personal check, Venmo or Zelle. I do not accept insurance plans, however a super bill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance after full payment for services has been received and processed.
I request a 24 hour notice of cancellation for scheduled appointments. If no notice is given, the full fee is charged.
